My name is Costello and I am a neutered male, tricolor Jack (Parson) Russell Terrier.
The shelter thinks I am about 10 years old.
I weigh approximately 14 pounds.I have been at the shelter since Nov 26, 2013.
I just happened across his listing this morning and felt the need to share him. He looks to be an old fella, probably scared and confused as to why he is in a shelter. Please share him with your contacts who love dogs.

I can see why he caught your eye. He looks like he could use a soft place to lie down and rest.
I’m wondering if he is a Jack Russell/Corgi mix or if the photo depicts a skewed perspective. If only I knew some shelter workers who were experts at identifying Corgis…
I would call him a shepherd mix…mixed with something short. And I can’t tell if the tail set is weird or if his hips are wonky (or maybe both). Either way, I just want to get him an orthopedic mattress and a blankie.
LOL… he sure is cute I bet he was a handful in his younger years. I’m wondering if he’s really that old. His body/muscle tone is beautiful. I sure hope he gets a home for the holidays

Shared. Corgi Jack is my guess. BUT while I was Dir. At Cheatham County AC there was redneck ass hat backyard breeder. He was breeding Jacks and Bassets. He brought litter after litter to me. They were all sick with congenital defects. I tried to prosecute somehow. The hick told me “I’m inventin’ a brand new breed tight here in our county. we’re gonna be the JackBasssett capitol!”. The mayor and DA simply laughed. I was up to 30 that did not survive when he dumped them with me. They looked just like this baby.
