The irresponsible public in Filer Idaho are stepping up the plate. In Feb. an officer responded to a loose dog report. and shot and killed a black lab named Hooch. The incident was recorded on his dash cam. The shooting didn’t look justified to many, in fact at the next city council meeting twenty four people spoke in favor of firing the officer. Three spoke in favor of his conduct. The officer was not fired so fast forward to March 30, when a petition to recall the mayor and city council was started.
