This photo reminds me of a once feral cat companion, who would walk along the top of the shower curtain rod. I would wake in the night and hear the shower curtain rings jangling. Of course, I flew out of bed to get him down. I was always afraid he would fall and hurt himself, but luckily he never did. Teddy lived 18 years and when he passed, he just went to sleep and didn’t wake up.
I just came across this and it is so disturbing. Cops determined to shoot chained up dog when a young mother blocks his shot. From there it all goes downhill. Really can’t understand cops these days.
Buy This Girl A Dog!Its so sad when you see a brilliant dog trainer who is only missing one simple little thing……… a dog. Pretty impressive anyway and shows that there IS a place for positive-only training :)Posted by Grant Teeboon on Sunday, August 24, 2014
Although the pitch is to buy the girl a dog, I say go big or go home: buy her a possum. If she can train a cat for agility, let’s not waste her talents on something like a dog.

This Friday, August 14th, ABC News 20/20 will be covering the killing of Cecil. Brent Stapelkamp, one of the lion researchers who had tracked Cecil, is one of those interviewed. I am hoping this will expose new facts and intensify the pressure to extradite Palmer. The link is a preview of the program.

Thank you for sharing that Clarice. A long life for a special boy; and a peaceful ending we wish for all of our companion animals.
Continuing yesterday’s “Can this animal be real?” theme, I was amazed to see images of a “sea sheep” that can photosynthesize.

Trying again.

Thanks for the heads up. If I can’t watch, I’ll record.
