First, as always, thank you to the readers who take the time to visit this blog. I appreciate you.
Second, the past year has been financially challenging. The expenses to keep this blog up and running in its present form are beyond my financial capabilities right now. One option is to cut expenses by downgrading but that means losing certain aspects of the blog and, far worse, the inclusion of ads (from which I derive zero dollars). I really don’t want to use this option.
Instead I am going to put the blog on pause until I am able to cover the expenses. I want to be clear that this is a temporary measure and not a farewell. I have numerous posts in the works and every intention of posting them as soon as possible. There are still a few weeks left on my current plan so posting will continue as normal until that runs out. I wanted to give readers a heads up in advance because everybody hates surprises. And the blog archives will still be here during the pause, but there will be ads (booooo).
Lastly, thank you to the person who donated in response to the Optional Subscription post. I have held on to your donation and will add to it as soon as I am able.

I’m sorry to hear this. I can really sympathize; going through a rough patch myself. I hope things improve, and that you’re back soon.
There are many of us. It doesn’t have to be this way but the wealthy have all the power in this capitalist society and are happy to let the masses suffer. It’s an unsustainable model. I only hope the writers have a good ending in mind.
