Shelter Pet of the Day

Eli, submitted by reader Laura who writes:

Eli is at the shelter where I volunteer. He had been at the shelter
for a very long time, he was adopted but then returned after only two
weeks. He is the best dog, but overlooked because of his age and
breed. he is so well behaved, we had him out at an event and he was
great with all the other dogs and people big and small.

  1. I know the BADRAP folks are pretty well connected – maybe letting them know about this boy might help him find a home. I’m in Michigan – wish I was closer. He looks like a big sweetheart!

  2. Thank you for making Eli shelter pet of the day! I hope the extra exposure helps him find his forever home. I am on my way to visit him at the shelter. He IS a big sweetheart.

  3. Yay for Eli! Hope this one sticks. He looks like such a great dog–glad the shelter have him another chance to find a real home.
