Shelter Pets of the Day

Imp is in foster care and needs a permanent home.

Onyx is in foster care and needs a permanent home.

Imp and Onyx, submitted by reader Valerie, who writes:

Imp is the last of a chow mix litter from the summer before last.  They had caught parvo, and a couple died.  Imp has what the vet calls “Blue Dog Syndrome” which is when dogs with blue coats have hair that is especially brittle, which causes the hair to break off, and the dog gets bald patches.   He has been in the program since June 2009.

If someone out of state wants to rescue or adopt either of these dogs, we can work out transport.
