Is this dog wearing an I.D. collar? Put on at the shelter? Maybe they are working on losing less pets this year? One can hope.

She is an owner – all of the pets are supposed to wear a blue (boy) collar or pink (girl) with ID numbers on them…. Have been there when the wrong colored collar or no.collar has been on the pups.

Just wanted to update everyone on Lovely Layla! She left the shelter late yesterday and is boarding at a local vet. She had a few sniffles (no great surprise with MAS dogs) and is on antibiotics now. A great rescue will be picking her up in a couple of days and she’ll be on her way to a new furever home! I can’t tell you how sweet this little girl is — what a great companion she will be for someone!
