Many thanks to those who ran *towards* the explosions to help the injured. That takes a special kind of person to risk themselves in order to help others.
For those looking to see if someone is ok, or to report yourself as ok, please go to the Red Cross site here – https://safeandwell.communityos.org/cms/index.fast.php

Prayers are for all those in Boston who are struggling with the evil that has been visited on this great city on the day. May they be restored to wholeness.

It seems dogs are used in so many ways by police, military, agents, and a few are even taken from animal shelters for a life of service instead of death, yet our government still doesn’t care enough about them to afford them more protections. Abusers get away with slaps on the hands, prosecutors don’t go after abusers like perpetrators with a joint and millions are killed in “shelters” every year after year, but man they sure like to show everyone how proud they are of their working dogs. How about doing more for ALL dogs if they recognize how special they are?
