For anyone in need of a random celeb distraction, I enjoyed this one about Ryan Gosling carrying his dog George through the L.A. airport. I’ve only seen Ryan Gosling in one movie – Lars and the Real Girl – but it’s one of my all-time favorites.

As a blogger trying to shine some light on the pseudoscience that fuels the witch-hunt against feral cats, SLAPP suits are a serious concern. On the other hand, the injustice simply infuriates me.
If there’s a silver lining, it’s this: when SLAPP suits are all the establishment has left, they’ve got to be close to losing the fight.
These tactics are just the latest in their desperate struggle for relevance. Time for those who are more interested in protecting their jobs than the animals in their care to get out of the way—there’s important work to be done.
