This puppy was picked up as a stray on July 21. Paddington is about 4 months old and he looks as if he might be a Lab/Border Collie Mix.

  1. Even though he is NO longer listed on PetHarbor – he IS still at MAS….why they take him off of PH, when the public tries to find him a home, is beyond me (Jan put a “hold” on him to MARKET him because no one else will!) …..I have told Rogers what a ridiculous practice that is – obviously, he didn’t listen to me (big shocker)…..

    1. Just wanted to let all of you know that he has a home!! We absolutely LOVE him and he will never know anything but a life of love and basically being spoiled rotten!!!

  2. It seems Rogers is doing everything in his power to make sure the animals get to the kill room when he should be making sure that they are seen on PH far and wide and given every change to have a happy safe home life. Again, Shame on Rogers! What a big disappointment he turned out to be.

    1. More than likely, Paddington is scared because he’s at Memphis Animal Services where so many animals are killed. Dogs can sense that bad energy in this facility and they can pick up on the bad energy that some of these employees have. I am sure once he’s adopted, he will undergo a big change. When he was outside, he just lay on the concrete but then I coaxed him into the grass. And he just lay in the grass. So I held him and gave him some TLC. He looks so much like my Shelby that it is killing me. He is a sweet dog!

  3. shared … cute pup! (though he looks scared to DEATH –> oh wait, that’s the whole idea behind MAS!!!)

  4. At least he is not labeled as a Pit Bull! I thought he looked like a Pointer but can’t tell since he is scared and his ears are back. He just needs some socialization and loving. No one in Memphis wants to adopt a cute 4 month old pup!

  5. Somebody over on the Tennessee Death Row Dogs facebook page posted that she called MAS and they told her a rescue was picking Paddington up tomorrow (Sat). I really hope so! If anyone can confirm that, please post.

  6. Paddington will now have a good chance to grow up and live a life with people who love him. What a sweet face, what a lucky pup!
Thank you to all who have made this happen for him.
