This is just for fun and the only rule is: no researching. Post your best/worst guess. Reading other people’s answers before posting your own is optional. Answer will be posted in the comments later today.
ha – In studying him (or her?), I think it’s possible to assign any number of statuses – discontent is a good one. I was thinking something along philosophical lines would fit.
No idea, but I’ve seen green beetles like this before… I’ve saved a couple of them from drowning in my Mum’s swimming pool. The colours on them are glorious.
Looks like a blue weevil … possibly a blue jewel weevl? it just looks like a jewel of some sort.. pretty though. It would be a shame if it were a blue jeweled dung beetle!! lol!!
Well, at least I got the “Weevil” part right! But it really shoud have something in it’s name about that beautiful color.. don’t ya think? Just my humble opinion :) Thanks for all the fun, Biscuit!! I just love when you put these animals up and we have to guess! Makes my day!
Indigenous to Kentucky, the Bluegrasshopper’s range is primarily in the corn-growing regions of the state which are known for producing Kentucky bourbon. The Bluegrasshopper is generally inebriated, particularly the subspecies commonly found lounging around the Maker’s Mark and Woodford Reserve distilleries (grasshopperus caeruleus breathalyzerus).
They are generally harmless but can be amorous, and should not be allowed to operate heavy machinery.
This has nothing at all to do with the weevil posted. I just could’t figure out how to get to your page to tell you something. My husband and I just glanced at your picture and both said at the same time.. “Doesn’t she look alot like “Adele”.. that’s quite a compliment from him and me.. we adore that lady.. and we adore you . Thank you for advocating for the animals.. they are our loves as well. Just thought you might like to know you are a very pretty lady inside and out.. :)
Adele is young and pretty and talented. I am not any of those things but thank you for your kind thought and especially for saying it had nothing to do with the weevil. That was my favorite part.
