We had a neighbor who put up a massive spider every year. It took me time to convince the dog that it was okay, just a thing, nothing to worry about… then it MOVED. Sucker moved its head and legs maybe every five minutes, just to freak out the dog, apparently.
Dogs must think we’re nuts with the decorations, the costumes, the kids at the door…
But autumn brings chipmunks and squirrels, so yay that!
