The Westminster Kennel Club’s History: 1877 – 1889

In the Before Time, many people were accustomed to viewing the Westminster Kennel Club dog show on TV at this time of year. It’s been moved to June (and to a different location) this year due to the pandemic but here’s a bit of history on the club, as printed in The Fanciers’ Journal, February 8, 1890:
