After considering many, many potential names, a final decision was reached and I started calling her by that name. Then for no reason whatsoever, my brain started calling her Cindy. Every time I looked at her, I couldn’t think of anything but Cindy. The name Cindy was never on the list and I have no idea where it came from but anyway, as it turns out, her name is apparently Cindy.
I’ve put some videos of her on YouTube, if you partake.
The blog is still partially broken. That is, the appearance issues seem to have been resolved but the dozens of drafts I’ve been working on over time are missing images – though only in the app. Unfortunately the app is how I am accustomed to writing and posting so I need to make a change to the web interface because it doesn’t look like this issue is going to get fixed. We all adore change obviously but I admit I’ve been dragging my feet on this. As such, you may have noticed a bit of dust collecting here.
I don’t really have any slog news, just liked it for the title.

It sometimes takes us days or longer to find the name that suits a “new” cat. Then one day, it’s there, just like Cindy.

It would be so helpful if they would just tell us.
“Hi, I’m Bob.”
“Oh so not Petunia or Meriwether or Fairydust?”
“Noooo.”

Well, it is a bit of a Cinderella story for her, isn’t it?
