This is my absolute favorite cat at the shelter. I truly love him. I call him L’amour because that is exactly what he is, a love. He has to be the sweetest cats at the shelter. He only wants to next to you and I don’t think he could ever tire of getting his ears scratched or head rubbed. He is very, very easy-going. L’amour doesn’t make a fuss, watching silently as you walk away. I can only imagine what he must feel. His heart growing a little sadder, only growing brighter when you come back around. L’amour is a wonderful, calm, peaceful, humble, and extremely loving cat. He has been vaccinated and combo tested negative.

This shelter’s 2009 kill rate was 32%.
What a precious boy. I hope that someone snatches him up very quickly and takes him home.
Wow, a southern shelter with a kill rate of only 32%. They must be doing a lot of things right. I want to thank them for trying so hard and hope they are aiming to become no-kill with a save rate of 90% or higher.
I volunteer at the Coweta shelter and they are moving in the right direction. Everyone there cares about the animals and I hope we/the shelter, as a community, keep implementing policies that improve the adoption/rescue numbers, public awareness, and the lives of the animals.
Thank you for your comment! It’s not often we (the shelter)hear statements like that.
Hi,
I wanted to let everyone know that L’Amour was rescued today and is going to live out his life on farm in Alabama. He will want for nothing.
Yay for kitty! Never can get enough of these good news bits. Thank you.
Some good news this morning! I am so happy to hear that this beautiful boy will have a wonderful, forever home. Thanks for letting us know.
