Chance is a senior yellow lab who came to us under rather unfortunate circumstances. His caretaker has been admitted to the hospital and can no longer provide for him. We’re trying to network hard for Chance and hope that since it’s adopt a senior month he may be able to find a nice warm home to spend his golden years in.

Chance is at:

Chester County SPCA
1212 Phoenixville Pike
West Chester, PA 19380
Phone: 610-692-6113
Fax: 610-436-4630

For the period covering January through August 2013, 42% of the animals at Chester Co SPCA were either killed or died on their own.

  1. Shared. I love his expression! Seemingly impossible mix of “C’mon, throw the ball!” and “Not me. Nope. No dogs here ate the ball.” I press my thumbs for you, Chance, and will promote you everywhere I can … in exchange for a ten-per cent cut of kissies, okay?

    1. I didn’t see any of the senior dogs on the FB page. There is also a senior dog listed as a Bichon and a senior listed as a hound on petfinder.

      1. We’re currently undergoing a serious shift in management. We just got a whole new Board, a new Executive Director and a new Operations Manager. They’ve only been in for a little over a week. We are working hard to fix some of our shelter’s issues right now, and social media/Facebook is high up on the priority list :-) Chance is at no risk of being put to sleep currently, but he does need a warm home soon as the shelter is not the place for him. ~ Aimee, volunteer, CCSPCA, Paws 4 The Moment Photography
