Oh we had fireworks all right. Jade was in Billy’s lap, Surrey was in mine and Wendy was hiding under the radio. Then right in the middle of everything I made a mistake and accidentally put our two dogs that fight in a room together. More fireworks but luckily, no serious injuries. After that, *I* wanted to hide under the radio too.

I really like that you take these photos of her in black-and-white — the way B&W shows off the shadows and gradations in her fur is really beautiful.

I am also so glad the 4th is over. Sounded like a war zone in my neighborhood. I can also see the blur of Jade’s wagging tail! Soooooo cute!
