Like many couples today, we don’t have children but do consider our dogs to be part of the family. I think DogDads deserve to be included in today’s tributes. At our house, we are very thankful for Billy who does everything from emergency gate building to contain bad Beagles to diaper duty on our elderly Chihuahua mix. And he’s not too bad with puppies either.

Biscuit, please see if folks would sign a Petition for Tony, an 8 year old Pitbull/Sharpei mix about to face Exercution tomorrow for a crime obviously he did not commit, no physical evidence to note he had anything to do with the death of a at-large Chihuahua in a rural area of Greenlee County, AZ… They need all the signatures one can muster, but hopefully Tony’s owners can secure his freedom before the Greenlee County Animal Control euthanizes him…
No blood on Tony, no fur in his mouth, no pictures taken of before and after of the incident by the one witness who I believe was the owner of the chihuahua at large. To me that owner is negligible for allowing a tiny dog to be roaming free in an area that is residence to wildlife that could very well have killed the small dog and perhaps dropped its kill when Tony heard the commotion & came to check it out and the predator ran off… I am just saying this is a definite possibility, a possibility that was ignored by the Court’s Judge Gloria Nabor so Tony may die, in my opinion, due to Pitbull Hysteria…
Tony has never been aggressive to dog, cat or human; was raised with all for all of his 8 years… See the pix at the Petiton site called Causes.com and you can see a relaxed, gentle, though large boy even in the confines, for months, of this killer facility…

Hello everyone, I am asking you to take a second out of your life to read this article about a dog named Tony who has been sentenced to be euthanized Monday, June 18th, 2012. Please take a moment of time to read Tony’s story, sign the petition, and spread the word. There is a link to a FB group page on the article where it will give you more ideas on how to help Tony and give you updates straight from Tony’s owner. There is a chip-in page listed on the petition site to donate money for legal help for submitting papers to the court to try to postpone Tony’s execution date. Tony is running out of time, Monday is the day he is scheduled to be euthanized, lets try to get word to the court that we do not think this is ok!
