I stand with you, unknown and - if not for the webcams - unseen dogs whose necks are placed in nooses so they can be dragged to their deaths at MAS. I will speak for you. And no matter how much it hurts, I will not look away. Memphis, please - stop the killing.

MAS: Surrenders Without Hope
Optimism
Sometimes I e-mail MAS and offer to try and help the dogs in the stray area but I don't get a response. So I keep trying. Dog, I feel your pain.
Nosy Parker
MAS webcam watchers have noticed this beautiful dog and his big nosy head poking over the top of the barrier lately. He looks like possibly an Akita. I e-mailed the shelter asking for information about this dog but haven't heard back yet. I'll update this post whenever I receive a reply. This dog is living … Continue reading Nosy Parker
UPDATED: Final Day of Stray Hold for Waggy Brown Dog at MAS
Please keep sharing this happy dog. Since Memphis Animal Services has not made her available to shelter visitors wanting to adopt nor have they posted her online, you are her only hope for making the public aware she is at the pound. An owner may be looking for her or she may be in need … Continue reading UPDATED: Final Day of Stray Hold for Waggy Brown Dog at MAS

I Like This Dog.
I saw this happy dog on the webcams yesterday and wanted to share her in case her owner is looking for her or maybe someone would like to adopt her. I e-mailed Matthew Pepper requesting information on this dog and was told her impound date was 6-6-11 and she will be held as a stray … Continue reading I Like This Dog.
Nova Update
I inquired to MAS this morning as to Nova's status and was informed she has been moved to the adoption area and someone has expressed interest in her already. This is great news since the shelter isn't even open yet and hasn't been since she was posted from the stray area on Sunday. Thank you … Continue reading Nova Update
